Methodology
Every row is a verbatim sentence read from the named source's own page through the estate's fetch service on the date shown, hash-pinned to the stored read (the sha of the page's visible text; the raw page is mirrored to R2).
3 of the 13 named sources that could be read published a usable figure; 10 published none and are recorded as not published, never filled in; 1 could not be read (blocked, dead or unreachable) and count nowhere.
The headline figures (median, minimum, maximum, quartiles) are over ONE figure per source in % (a source's median where its page yielded several accepted sentences), so N counts sources, never sentences; 12 candidate sentence(s) were refused by a reviewer with the reason recorded.
The fuller derivation this dataset is chartered to grow into (not yet what the figures above are; they are each source's own published figure as read): one row per jurisdiction per category: its exact name, the body that assigns it, the damage or cost threshold that triggers it, whether the vehicle may ever be re-registered, what inspection re-registration requires, and what must be disclosed to a buyer.
The derivation is the CROSS-JURISDICTION MAP - GB's A/B/S/N against the pre-2017 C/D, the US states' salvage, rebuilt, flood, junk and manufacturer-buyback brands with their percentage-of-value thresholds, and Australia's statutory against repairable write-off - plus the re-registration arbitrage that map exposes: which pairs of jurisdictions let a vehicle written off in one be re-registered in the other, which is the mechanism behind title washing.
12 candidate sentences on these pages were refused by a reviewer; each refusal and its reason is recorded in the review ledger.
